Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
Draft for the demo version, subject to legal review before public launch.
1. Nature of the service
- HISANAH is a demo and an aid; it does not replace reading the product label yourself or consulting a doctor.
- HISANAH never gives a “safe” verdict. The best result is “none of your allergens found in the ingredients read”.
2. Accuracy
- Product data comes from community sources (such as Open Food Facts) and AI reading of photos, and may contain errors or be outdated.
- Manufacturers sometimes change ingredients, so always check the label before eating, especially with severe allergies.
3. Emergencies
In any severe allergic reaction call 997 immediately and follow the emergency plan from your doctor.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your password secret.
- Guardians are responsible for their children's data and for choosing what their cards show.
5. Acceptable use
Don't enter other people's data without their permission, try to access others' data, or bypass usage limits.
6. Usage limits
Label photo reading is limited to a daily number per account to keep the service running.
7. Changes
We may update these terms and will show the last-updated date at the top of the page.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
